RIDING TRAILS
Hard Labor Creek Located in Rutledge, Ga., this is a State Park that offers camping, fishing, canoeing, hiking, rental cabins, bath houses, but best of all----Trailriding (BYOH, Bring your own horse). They rent well maintained stalls with water convenience and are completely fenced around the barns. One of my favorites. You can check out the website under Georgia State Parks.

FORT MOUNTAIN STATE PARK Located in Chatsworth, Ga., offers 20 miles of trails, campsites with power/water, stalls, and day-use parking. The trails are hilly with good footing, mostly wooded with Creeks Crossings. Guided rental horses or Bring your own horse. Phone 706-517-4376.
ROOSEVELT STATE PARK Located in Pine Mountain, Ga., 25 miles of marked trails just waiting for you to enjoy. They offer guided rides for their rental horses and trail maps for riders that bring their own horse. Trails are hilly and wooded. Rental stalls are available by reservation. There are no camp sites at the stables but campsites w/hookups and rental cabins are available within F.D. Roosevelt State Park. The stables are privately owned and can be reached at 877-696-4613. OCONEE NATIONAL FOREST Located on Hwy 83 between Forsyth and Monticello, Ga. This site is for Primitive campers or day riders as no water, electricity, bath house, or stalls are available. It does offer beautiful trails ranging from easy to expert levels and mostly wooded. Take the river trail and enjoy a picnic lunch by the Ocmulgee River. Bring your own horse and water.
WATSON MILL BRIDGE STATE PARK Located in Comer, Ga., this state park contains the longest original-site covered bridge in Georgia. With 12 miles of horse trails that roam around the river, through forests and offer a lot of diversity and feature views of the river, creeks, and wildlife. Campsites with elect., bath house, stalls, or rental cabins are available. Easy and beautiful trails.

FLORIDA GREENWAY Located near Ocala, Fl., the Greenway offers parking, restrooms, showers, campsites with elect. hookups and stalls. This intriguing trail takes you over the traffic of I-75 for an awesome view. These trails are mostly flat and nicely shaded. Bring your own horse.
